Kamikaze Pompano

AJ and his friend Jay went out in the boat last week. This pompano “skipped” through the air and bounced off of AJ’s belly. A quick scramble and said fish was in the cooler. So much easier than fishing with a pole.

I dubbed that fish “Tasty” and went about making sure it lived up to it’s name. If you are interested in the end result check out my recipe “French Baked Pompano”.

Cute Guys and Cute Fish

AJ and his cousin “J.” spent the morning on lagoon. All they have to show for it is diminuitive snapper and a slightly larger trout. Still big enough for eating, as will be demonstrated tomorrow afternoon.
